Jakarta, October 7, 2024 – Subaru Indonesia proves the motorsport DNA of its products through the victory of the Subaru BRZ in the 2024 Indonesia Drift Series. Ziko Harnadi from the Subaru Garasi Drift Team successfully secured first place in the PRO class at the 5th round of the 2024 Indonesia Drift Series, held on October 5-6, 2024, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. This achievement continues Subaru’s more than 50-year history of involvement in motorsport and follows Ziko Harnadi’s victory at the D1GP Southeast Asia in July 2024. Plaza Auto Mega’s active participation in competitive drifting was also highlighted by the Subaru BRZ’s involvement in the Women Drift Challenge and the Subaru WRX Wagon serving as the Official Safety Car for the 2024 Indonesia Drift Series.

 

At the 2024 Indonesia Drift Series, the Subaru BRZ driven by Ziko Harnadi demonstrated the car’s performance, precision, agility, and power in an intense drift battle. The combination of Subaru’s technical expertise and the skills of Ziko Harnadi and the Garasi Drift Team worked perfectly, resulting in a well-deserved victory. Built on the Subaru BRZ 2024 platform, the "BRZIKO" was specifically tuned for the PRO-class drift championship, combining precise handling capabilities with superior balance and responsiveness, giving drivers a competitive edge in drift competitions.
